Boiler Fire Tube Cleaning
Fire tube cleaning is important to maintain high energy efficiency. Soot, rust and other buildup can severly degrade your boiler's efficiency and decrease its usable life not to mention, cause safety hazards. VIACS professionals will ensure your firetube boiler operates at peak efficiency for its maximum lifespan.

Chiller Tube Brushing
Chillers are often the single largest consumers of energy. The undoing of any chiller is the build-up of scale, biological growth, and corrosion inside chiller tubes. Cleanroom Cleaning
Whether your cleanroom is a small soft-wall enclosure or superfab facility, it needs to be cleaned to maintain the process or product yield. VIACS will work with you and follow your established protocols for cleaning all areas of your cleanroom. If necessary, we can work with you to establish your cleaning protocols. Coil Cleaning
A coil fouled with dirt and grime cannot supply proper heat transfer, resulting in greater energy consumption. Equipment operating with dirty coils uses more energy than those with clean coils. Additionally, a dirty systems cooling capacity is greatly reduced. Dirty coils increase operating pressure and temperature, which breaks down the compressors lubricant and can result in equipment failure. A failed compressor means no cooling and costly repair.

Containment & Control
VIACS practices stringent containment and control of infectious substances, mold and lead during removal and/or abatement. Cooling Tower Cleaning

Cryogenic Cleaning (CO2 Media Blasting)
Dry Ice (or CO2 Pellet) Blasting is one of the most effective means of removing loose surface and tightly bonded contaminants. The process itself is similar to sandblasting, but provides a non-hazardous, non-conductive, and most importantly, a non-waste generating mechanical cleaning action. The process can be gentle enough to clean delicate electrical components or aggressive enough to remove bonded coatings.

Data Center Cleaning (Underfloor)
Because of gravity, a data center's underfloor is the area most prone to dirt and dust. Allowed to accumulate, these contaminants will be swept up and carried to your equipment by the circulating air conditioning so vital to your equipment's operation. Drop Ceiling Cleaning
Ceilings are a trap for carbon monoxide, oils, grease, smoke, nicotine and carbon. They provide a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. These factors along with other unsanitary pollutants bond to amino and fatty acids to create the sick building syndrome. Ductwork Cleaning

Factory Dust Abatement

Fire Damper Inspection
Proper inspection of a fire damper system assures its reliable operation and establishes that the system complies with regulations and professional standards. In the event of a fire, the damper system will prevent rapid spread of fire through the ventilation system. The best way to inspect the operation of a fire damper is to view it in both the open and closed position.  Depending on your needs, VIACS can supply you with a dated photograph of each damper in both the open and closed position. We do not use a "one-size-fits-all" checklist; every facility is different and we take the time to address your needs and specific circumstances.

Flex Ductwork Replacement
Flexible nonmetallic duct (or flex duct) is more cost effective than hard pipe, due to the increasing costs of metal, and can easily be ran in tight spaces. However, it is easily torn, crushed, pinched, or damaged during installation, and has a high resistance to airflow due to the rigid interior which creates turbulence in the passing air, causing your system to lose efficiency. Consequently, it must be properly installed, and promptly replaced should it become damaged.

Grease Hoods & Systems Cleaning
Approximately one-third of restaurant fires are caused by built-up grease residue in the kitchen exhaust system. It is important to ensure you get a complete, routine cleaning of your entire system. Some contractors offer a "hood cleaning" service which does not include the ductwork or rooftop fan. While such services may keep the interior of the kitchen looking sharp, they do little to secure fire safety and reduce health threats. Only a complete cleaning of the system-from the hood in the kitchen to the fan on the roof-will reduce the risk of kitchen fires and ensure compliance with fire regulations.
