Our Services
Assessment &
Inspection VIACS offers comprehensive inspection of a
wide variety of HVAC systems and controls. We'll also assess the
safety, lifespan and energy efficiency of your HVAC system to
determine the current operating condition, or give a second opinion
on work that has already been done.
Boiler Fire Tube Cleaning Fire tube cleaning
is important to maintain high energy efficiency. Soot, rust and
other buildup can severly degrade your boiler's efficiency and
decrease its usable life not to mention, cause safety hazards. VIACS
professionals will ensure your firetube boiler operates at peak
efficiency for its maximum lifespan.
Chiller Tube Brushing Chillers are often the
single largest consumers of energy. The undoing of any chiller is
the build-up of scale, biological growth, and corrosion inside
chiller tubes. When this occurs, efficiencies are eroded and the
chillers life cycle can be significantly reduced. Preventive
maintenance, including cleaning the chiller tubes, will yield
optimum efficiency of the chillers.
Cleanroom Cleaning Whether your cleanroom is
a small soft-wall enclosure or superfab facility, it needs to be
cleaned to maintain the process or product yield. VIACS will work
with you and follow your established protocols for cleaning all
areas of your cleanroom. If necessary, we can work with you to
establish your cleaning protocols. VIACS technicians can perform all
aspects of cleanroom cleaning from construction cleaning to daily
maintenance. Whether your cleanroom is Class 8 or Class 3, sterile
or non-sterile, VIACS can clean it and keep it clean.
Coil Cleaning A coil fouled with dirt and
grime cannot supply proper heat transfer, resulting in greater
energy consumption. Equipment operating with dirty coils uses more
energy than those with clean coils. Additionally, a dirty systems
cooling capacity is greatly reduced. Dirty coils increase operating
pressure and temperature, which breaks down the compressors
lubricant and can result in equipment failure. A failed compressor
means no cooling and costly repair.
Contract Management VIACS can manage all
aspects of your HVAC equipment service contract, including billing,
scheduling, profitability analysis, and warranty tracking.
Containment & Control VIACS practices
stringent containment and control of infectious substances, mold and
lead during removal and/or abatement. Containment systems include
physical barriers, pressurization systems, isolation and sealing of
ventilation ducts, dermal and respiratory protection for workers,
and systematic removal, transportation and disposal of contaminated
materials.
Cooling Tower Cleaning Commercial evaporative
cooling systems are particularly vulnerable to the negative effects
of mineral build up because they rely on the evaporation of water.
Any impurities in your water supply will have nowhere to go except
the pipe walls. VIACS professionals are ready to assist you in
keeping your facility operating at maximum efficiency with our
meticulous cleaning services. We may also be able to help you reduce
the build up on mineral deposits in the future as well.
Cryogenic Cleaning (CO2 Media Blasting) Dry
Ice (or CO2 Pellet) Blasting is one of the most effective means of
removing loose surface and tightly bonded contaminants. The process
itself is similar to sandblasting, but provides a non-hazardous,
non-conductive, and most importantly, a non-waste generating
mechanical cleaning action. The process can be gentle enough to
clean delicate electrical components or aggressive enough to remove
bonded coatings.
Cyclone & Hopper Cleaning Correct air
flow through a cyclone is vital for efficient operation, and
materials bridging or hanging up in hoppers can be a real nuisance.
Let VIACS' professionals remove material build up and keep your
equipment operating at peak efficiency.
Data Center Cleaning (Underfloor) Because of
gravity, a data center's underfloor is the area most prone to dirt
and dust. Allowed to accumulate, these contaminants will be swept up
and carried to your equipment by the circulating air conditioning so
vital to your equipment's operation. The impact of contaminated
airflow includes clogged circuity, increased risk of fire,
accidental fire suppressant discharge, and miscellaneous health
problems. VIACS' underfloor cleaning service helps protect your
equipment from these and other hazards.
Drop Ceiling Cleaning Ceilings are a trap for
carbon monoxide, oils, grease, smoke, nicotine and carbon. They
provide a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. These factors along
with other unsanitary pollutants bond to amino and fatty acids to
create the sick building syndrome. VIACS' cleaning system breaks
down and dissolves these substances, returning your ceiling surface
to a like-new condition. In addition to the ceiling tiles being
deodorized and sanitized, they regain their acoustic, fire rating,
and light reflection values. Your working and living environment is
positively enhanced.
Ductwork Cleaning If not properly installed,
maintained, and operated, ductwork may become contaminated with
particles of dust, pollen or other debris. If moisture is present,
the potential for microbiological growth (e.g., mold) is increased
and spores from such growth may be released into the living and/or
working space. Some of these contaminants may cause allergic
reactions or other symptoms in people if they are exposed to
them.
Electrical Apparatus / Motor Cleaning With
our Cryogenic (Dry Ice) Blasting process, VIACS professionals can
thoroughly and gently clean all kinds of electrical and electronic
equipment. Dry Ice Blasting is nonabrasive and the materials used
are nonconductive, making it the ideal choice for cleaning sensitive
equipment like switchboards, circuit breakers, AC and DC motors,
generators, and more.
Encapsulation & Coatings VIACS
specialises in offering environmental coating solutions through
effective applications and technologies. These applications help in
improving the safety of workplace, sustainability of natural
resources, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and energy
efficiency. VIACS' encapsulation & coating services improve the
comfort levels and extend the structural life of treated
surfaces.
Factory Dust Abatement Dust which has
accumulated on surfaces found in and around factory equipment may
pose serious problems for the equipment itself, as well as factory
workers. Factory dust may contain hazardous materials such as
asbestos, lead, or other contaminants which may cause allergic
reactions or other symptoms in people who are exposed to them.
Machinery may lose efficiency due to dust that has settled on the
surface, or built up in vents, pipes, hoses, and moving parts.
Factory Equipment Cleaning (Ovens, Printers, Sorters,
etc.) During factory construction, managers of factories
or industrial facilities go to great lengths to plan the layout of
factory equipment with the goal of improving production and worker
productivity but often place only minor emphasis on cleaning and
maintaining that equipment. The best way to avoid potential
problems, including costly repairs, is to have a comprehensive
cleaning and maintenance program that addresses all the cleaning
needs of the entire facility.
Fan Cleaning One of the most fundamental ways
to reduce fire risk is to eliminate built-up grease, debris, and
other by-products that serve as fuel sources within ventilation and
exhaust systems. With routine cleaning, equipment life is extended
and most importantly, efficiency is increased. VIACS will clean your
fans and exhaust systems to the metal and ensure these systems are
in good working order.
Filter Rack Repairs Damaged metal filter
racking systems can often be repaired, avoiding the cost and
inconvenience of a complete filter rack replacement.
Filter Replacement VIACS professionals can
replace just about any type of filter, including dust collection,
HVAC and equipment filters. Regular filter replacement can help
extend the useful life of your HVAC units and equipment, decrease
energy costs, and reduce the risk of poor health caused by poor
indoor air quality.
Fire Cleanup for HVAC systems A fire loss is
very complex because of the unique behavior of smoke, which flows
through plumbing cavities and HVAC systems. Hot embers of a fire
will often damage the interior of the HVAC system and duct work. It
is important to have an experienced restoration team on your side.
Fast treatment will help reduce smoke and soot health hazards. VIACS
is the most comprehensive resource for fire damage services,
assessment, and recovery.
Fire Damper
Inspection Proper
inspection of a fire damper system assures its reliable operation
and establishes that the system complies with regulations and
professional standards. In the event of a fire, the damper system
will prevent rapid spread of fire through the ventilation system.
When you
choose VIACS we will discuss your needs, analyze your facility, and
prepare a detailed custom plan for your situation. The best way to
inspect the operation of a fire damper is to view it in both the
open and closed position.
Depending on your needs, VIACS can supply you with a dated
photograph of each damper in both the open and closed position. We
do not use a "one-size-fits-all" checklist; every facility is
different and we take the time to address your needs and specific
circumstances.
Flex Ductwork
Replacement Flexible nonmetallic duct (or flex duct) is
more cost effective than hard pipe, due to the increasing costs of
metal, and can easily be ran in tight spaces. However, it is easily
torn, crushed, pinched, or damaged during installation, and has a
high resistance to airflow due to the rigid interior which creates
turbulence in the passing air, causing your system to lose
efficiency. Consequently, it must be properly installed, and
promptly replaced should it become damaged.
Grease
Hoods & Systems Cleaning Approximately one-third of
restaurant fires are caused by built-up grease residue in the
kitchen exhaust system. It is important to ensure you get a
complete, routine cleaning of your entire system. Some contractors
offer a "hood cleaning" service which does not include the ductwork
or rooftop fan. While such services may keep the interior of the
kitchen looking sharp, they do little to secure fire safety and
reduce health threats. Only a complete cleaning of the system-from
the hood in the kitchen to the fan on the roof-will reduce the risk
of kitchen fires and ensure compliance with fire
regulations.
High Bay Cleaning (Beams, Ceilings,
Walls, Equipment, etc.) Buildings that require high bay
cleaning usually have large and/or hard to clean surfaces. VIACS has
the tools, the knowledge, and the trained professionals to ensure
that your building is cleaned to perfection.
HVAC
Unit Cleaning One of the biggest contributors to indoor
air quality is the HVAC system (heating, ventilation and air
conditioning). The HVAC system "conditions" the air inside the
building so that it is clean, odor-free and at a temperature and
humidity that the majority of the buildings occupants find
comfortable. HVAC maintenance plays a significant role in keeping
the HVAC system running at peak efficiency.
Interstitial Space Cleaning Interstitial
space is that volume of space above the operating area's ceilings
where the mechanical systems such as HVAC duct, electrical and
piping are run. These mechanical systems often have valves,
instruments and other items which require periodic cleaning. This
space is also often used as a return air plenum warranting periodic
cleaning to alleviate potential detrimental health effects on
people.
Laboratory Equipment
Cleaning Regular cleaning and sanitizing is necessary to
keep laboratory equipment and tools in operable condition and to
maintain peak efficiency and safety.
Lead
Abatement As an industry expert in Lead Abatement, VIACS

abatement requirements in an environmentally conscious manner. Our
experienced personnel use the latest proven systems and technology
to assess the extent of your lead problem, devise an effective
solution, and execute a program that brings you into conformance
with federal and local regulations.
Mold
Abatement Molds can be found most anywhere, as long as
moisture and oxygen are present. When excessive moisture accumulates
in buildings or on building materials, mold growth will often occur,
particularly if the moisture problem remains undiscovered or
unaddressed. VIACS technicians can remediate your indoor mold
problem by not only stopping the source of moisture but also
removing the mold growth.
Paint Booth Cleaning You know that the right
paint finish on your product is very important to your customers.
You also know just how difficult it can be to keep this area of the
factory clean and flowing smoothly. VIACS professionals can remove
all of the paint build up on your industrial components and help
keep your paint line moving along smoothly.
